The Reverend Doctor Jaime Quiñones, who hails from Puerto Rico, has been a blessing to Second Presbyterian and to the Presbytery of Santa Fe since 1966. At the end of August, 2017, Rev. Quiñones moved to Lovington, NM, to be nearer to family.
He graduated with his Master of Divinity Degree from McCormick Theological Seminary. After serving at El Divino Salvador Presbyterian Church in Redlands, California, Rev. Quiñones served in several capacities in the Presbytery including Chaplain, Interim President at Menaul School, Associate Executive Presbyter of the Presbytery of Santa Fe, and as Vice-Moderator of the General Assembly.
For all of that time, Jaime has worshiped at Second Presbyterian and has served twice as the Interim Pastor, with continued service as Parish Associate. On October 2, 2016, we honored him, his family, and his service to Our Lord, by conferring the status of Pastor Emeritus.
He is seen in the picture at the baptism of Valentina Woodruff.
